07042011 - ELIMINATION / SHRIDI SAI BABA

Hye folks.

Thursday was a day where I have to take an important decision early in the morning. We already done a vocal practice with the students for Action Song Competition and now need to eliminate 2 students from the training list as per Action Song Competition rules, we need to choose 15 students only. As we have 17 of them in training list before, we have to say no to them. It was a tough decision need to take for the sake fulfilling the requirement of the rules. At first when I did vocal session individually I easily found out that exactly there were two students got some problem in pronouncing certain words wrongly and even I asked them correct it but they were unable to do it. Anyhow, with heavy heart, we decided to drop these two students from the list as we need to train actions movement to the rest of the students. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow for me and training partner, Umi. Then I realized that sometime in this life we always think of something that cannot be fixed. Even tough, we tried to convince, pray harder, and do our best to fix the problem for the sake of not losing everything that we really appreciated before, still it is not working or unable to solved the problem. In my case, I'd finally made a decision to drop that particular two students even tough I tried myself not to do so as they were unable to correct their mistake. I'd really hope that I could take that type of decision in my personal life and move on.

SHRIDI SAI BABA

Every Thursday will be very auspicious day for me as I always never failed to do Abhishegam for my Baba statue. In this life, as everybody does, I do have role models or an inspiration to make our lives better especially for our self-development. When the time that I was going through really though times and wherever I turn I saw nothing but disappointment, he came for rescue. For this, I need to thank Thamarai. my dear friend who introduced me to Shridi Sai Baba teachings. I just knew her through facebook and we became a close friend where we do share lots of experience that we gone through in our daily life. Then, she suggested me that I need a guru to guide me to go through the hard times that I was experiencing that time. She shared to me about Shridi Sai Baba's teaching and asked me to read something about him at first. I did so as Im a type of person who beliefs things that really happened rather than something that told mythological. Then, I watched a movie that tells the life of Shridi Sai Baba. It moves me into tears and made me realized something. That was my first turning point in life, since then I stop or put my hope in pause button and started to move on by completely surrender my self to Shridi Sai Baba. Since then, first I thought to improve myself, I started to hit the gymnasium and do regular exercise to lose a lot of kilos where that time I was weighing 125 kilos. At the same time, every Thursday I did abhishegam for my Shridi Sai Baba statue followed by chanting his mantras. I really owe to Thamarai as she even posted me with a book regarding this Thursday Shridi Sai Baba's prayers, together with a viboothi from Shridi itself. Since then, there we complete change on myself where I managed to reduce about 40 kilos and even became a positive thinker mostly even not completely. Anyhow, as a human we cant expect everything goes as we expected all the time as whatever happened due to our Karma as well. To know more about Shridi Sai Baba, you can view this link as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirdi_Sai_Baba or even there plenty of link if you google it. Better for you guys to search yourself because I really dont want to promote any religious practice here and what I said just was purely something that I taught to share where as a conclusion I hope that if you are going through hard times in your try think or believing something that could boost up your confidence and developing you to a positive way rather than putting you in the depression. That was what I did, even though I couldnt solve my disappointment but I could accept it with full heart as I started to believe that whatever happened has its own reason and time will tell the answer for every question arises . I just wanted to share some of the photos of my Shridi Sai Baba statue in my house during abhishegam today.

Before I ended up my journal today, I just want to share some quotes by Shridi Sai Baba today and remember I'm not promoting any religious activity here as from today I decided that every Thursday will be a day I will tell about peoples that I really admire a lot in my life that I even mentioned two days ago in my journal titled as SPIRITUAL. So this Thursday, I'm really happy to started it with Shridi Sai Baba.

  • Do not kick against the pricks of life.
  • Whatever creature comes to you, human or otherwise, treat it with consideration.
  • Do not be obsessed by the importance of wealth.
  • See the divine in the human being.
  • Do not bark at people and don’t be aggressive, but put up with others’ complaints.
  • There is a wall of separation between oneself and others and between you and me. Destroy this wall!
  • Give food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, and clothes to the naked. Then God will be pleased.
  • Saburi (patience) ferries you across to the distant goal.
  • God is not so far away. He is not in the heavens above, nor in hell below. He is always near you.
  • If you cannot endure abuse from another, just say a simple word or two, or else leave.
  • What do we lose by another’s good fortune? Let us celebrate with them, or strive to emulate them.
  • That should be our desire and determination.
  • I stay by the side of whoever repeats my name.
  • If formless meditation is difficult, then think of my form just as you see it here. With such meditation, the difference between subject and object is lost and the mind dissolves in unity.
  • If anyone offends you do not return tit for tat.
  • I am the slave of those who hunger and thirst after me and treat everything else as unimportant.
  • Whoever makes me the sole object of their love, merges in me like a river in the ocean.
  • Look to me and I will look to you.
  • What God gives is never exhausted, what man gives never lasts.
  • Be contented and cheerful with what comes.

Lots of of love, respect and regards,
